Oficina Impossível

Carolina Vasconcelos Lapa (Lisbon, 1973) is a Luso‑Angolan visual artist, photographer and performer. She trained at the António Arroio Art School, studied Drawing at the National Society of Fine Arts, and attended the Lisbon Conservatory in the fields of dance and classical singing. She holds a degree in Stage Design from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School, with additional training in Theatre and Education and a postgraduate degree in Sociology. Her trajectory weaves together pedagogy, performance and visual creation. Since 2015, she has been developing an authorial practice that integrates visual arts, photography, performative presence and body‑voice research.
