The November 2021 Open Studios event at Oficina Impossível offered visitors an intimate look at the creative processes of seven artists working within the gallery's studio complex. Held over a long weekend, the event provided a relaxed setting for dialogue between artists and the public.
Each studio was open for exploration, with artists presenting both finished works and ongoing projects. The event emphasised the importance of process over product, inviting visitors to understand the journey from idea to artwork.
This edition of Open Studios took place during a period of cautious reopening following the pandemic, and the warm reception from visitors underscored the community's appetite for direct engagement with contemporary art.
