The 2021 edition of Lisbon's city-wide open studios programme, featuring fourteen artists at Oficina Impossível.
The 2021 Lisbon Open Studios / Abertura Ateliers Abertos brought fourteen artists together at Oficina Impossível for three days of public access to their studios and works. As part of the city-wide programme, the event connected the gallery to a broader network of creative spaces across Lisbon.
Visitors could follow a mapped route through the Santos district, discovering studios and galleries that are normally closed to the public. At Oficina Impossível, the scale of participation — fourteen artists — made for a particularly rich and varied experience, with practices ranging from figurative painting to abstract sculpture.
The event was organised in partnership with the Art Association Castelo d'If and the National Society of Fine Arts.
