Oficina Impossível

The Sphere is a Web 3.0 experiment in collaborative funding and collecting live art, presented in a workshop by Erik Bordeleau, researcher in cinema, philosophy and value theory at Nova University. The project functions as a shared digital reservoir, inspired by Primavera de Filippi’s Plantoid, enabling the accumulation and direct distribution of funds to artists. Each funded artwork generates resources for new iterations, involving audiences, creators and collectors in a shared ecosystem. The workshop introduces the project’s core principles, explores the potential of blockchain technology for new ecologies of funding, and guides participants in creating their own digital wallet. The Sphere is part of a Creative Europe research‑creation programme dedicated to rethinking risks, opportunities and models of participation in the field of performing arts.
