Maria Múrias Corrêa

Maria Múrias Corrêa (Lisbon, 1999) trained as a clinical psychologist and has developed her professional career in the fields of mental health and social intervention.

Her connection to the arts began through theatre and cinema, where she gained experience in training, creation, and production, later extending her practice to the visual arts. Her artistic work has explored questions related to memory, the passage of time, archives, and the different ways of preserving traces of human experience.

In 2025, she completed an artistic residency at Largo das Artes in Rio de Janeiro, where she presented the solo exhibition Guardar é uma outra forma de perder, mas com cuidado (To Keep Is Another Way of Losing, but Carefully). In 2026, she presents Cartografia da Falha (Cartography of Failure) at Oficina Impossível in Lisbon, continuing an artistic investigation into the relationship between memory and forgetting.
